Les Zollbrecht

Les first started working at Big Lake in 1994. When not at camp, Les enjoys rock and ice climbing, mountaineering and adventuring with his wife, Marschelle, and daughters, Sofie and Elsie. He has worked in youth ministries in Australia, organized and directed expeditions to the Himalayas and earned his Masters in Leadership from Andrews University.

Liesl Schnibbe

Associate Camp Director

Liesl joined the Big Lake crew in 2018 and is excited to get back to camp ministry after several years in other areas. She enjoys animals, reading, cooking, doing things outside, and spending time with her husband, Stephen. You can find them working on their fixer-upper house, kayaking, out 4-wheeling in Stephen’s “Chev-ota”, or just exploring the outdoors!

Randy & Angie Stroud

Facilities Manager

Randy is excited to be back in the NorthWest and joining the Big Lake team as Associate Facilities Manager. He and his wife, Angie, have been in the camp ministry for 5 years and are passionate about mentoring young adults. Randy loves the outdoors and you’ll often find him snowboarding, mountain biking, wake surfing, playing music, and having fun with his two kids, Connor and Marissa.

Angie loves supporting the camp with behind the scenes work online. She is a former school teacher and now enjoys homeschooling. In her down time, you will find Angie curled up with a good book, playing the piano or guitar, or taking pictures around camp.

Debbie Stanton

Office Manager

Debbie joined the Big Lake team full-time in April of 2017. Before that, she worked part-time in the Big Lake office and for Children’s Ministries at the Oregon Conference Office. As a teenager, Debbie was a camper at Big Lake and is so excited now to put her business degree to use serving clients by manning the Gladstone business office year around. When not at work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family and animals, reading, making quilts, drawing and baking/cooking.
